6.1-magnitude quake strikes Indonesia
Jakarta: An earthquake struck Kepulaun Kai, Indonesia. The preliminary magnitude was 6.1. The quake occurred at 5:45 pm with an epicenter 98 kilometers north east of the southeast district. It struck at a relatively shallow depth of 14 kilometers (8.5 miles). But there was no tsunami warning or reports of damage.
